Promotion Email

The promotion email is how you announce your Nomination program to your customers. When they click on "Nominate a Friend", they'll be brought to the promote destination you've set -- this is typically an Extole-hosted microsite at refer.companyname.com. In this email, you'll want to explain why you're running a Nominations program, who is eligible to be nominated, and what the nominees have a chance of winning.

Tagless Microsite or Nomination Experience

By default, all your promotion links in your program are set to direct to an Extole-hosted, no-dev-required microsite. This is where the nominator enters information about the person they are nominating. You can ask any number of questions about the nominee -- from their name and email to their address and occupation, these fields should represent all the information you need to select and communicate with a winner. Extole recommends setting a "Nomination Message Minimum Character Length" to ensure you're getting sufficient information as to why the nominee should be selected.

If you're not using an Extole-hosted microsite, you'll put whatever external URL you want promote links to go to in "Destination for Clicks on Promotions" in the "Promote Destination" creative, and put nomination_experience in "Extole-Hosted Experience to Trigger on URL Landing". This will ensure that anyone who clicks on a link that promotes the Nominations program is taken to the URL you specify and that the nomination experience pops on their screen.

Nominator Reward Email

Surprise and delight your nominators with a reward! They will receive a reward email after they submit a nomination and pass all quality and rewarding rules. This is a great way to thank consumers for engaging with your brand.

Nominee Notification Email

Let a nominee know that they've been nominated with the Nominee Notification Email. They will receive this email after a nominator fills out the microsite or the nomination experience, and it will include the reason that their nominator is nominating them.

Nominee Reward Email

Go one step further and reward a nominee for being nominated. They will receive this email after a nominator fills out the microsite or the nomination experience, and it will include the reason that their nominator is nominating them and a reward of your choosing. This is a great way to thank the nominee for being an outstanding member of society.
