Receiving Data from Extole

Overview

Extole can export data via multiple methods including API, webhooks, third-party system integrations, and SFTP-based file delivery. Output data will vary depending on your downstream systems or reporting requirements. Any data within Extole's platform can be made available for your use.

• All fields captured in customer experiences
• Marketing opt-ins and opt-outs
• Reward information
• Event information
• Program metrics
• Audiences
• Reports
• Additional fields as needed

Integration Methods

The integrations outlined in Sending Data to Extole can also be used to receive data.

API

You can receive events from Extole using the Admin API for secure server-to-server communication. This method is often used to send secure or offline events to Extole, such as order shipments or financial account openings.

Webhooks

Webhooks submit real-time data about your customers and their journey through your program(s) to the platform or system of your choice, where you’ll be able to record and manage that information and perform actions upon the event's occurrence. Your outbound webhooks can be added and configured directly in the Extole platform.

Example use cases and types of Extole webhooks:

• Shares: Extole will notify your system when a successful advocate share is detected.
• Registrations: Extole will notify your system upon a successful registration.
• Email Captures: Extole will notify your system when an email capture is detected from a referred friend or when the friend enters their email address to opt-in to marketing communications.
• Conversions: Extole will notify your system when a referral conversion event occurs.
• Rewards: Extole will notify your system when a reward has been earned.

Third-Party Integrations

Integrating with your other systems may allow you to do the following:

• Identify advocates in real time

Through an integration, we can conveniently send any events or other data in real-time directly to your CDP, ESP, and more for your use.

Files

As you can upload or send Extole files via SFTP, we can do the same in return. You can easily download reports or audience lists through My Extole or have them delivered to you via SFTP.
