Data at Extole
Data at Extole can be any type of information you would like to track. This includes data about people—your customers in general as well as your program participants and their relationships to one another. It also includes data about people’s behaviors or events. For instance, you might want to know about the promotions they view, links they click on, products they purchase, friends they share with, and so on. Any piece of data you are interested in, we can track. The data we collect through your programs lives in key aspects of your My Extole account. The email addresses of people who have opted in to communications on your site, for example, are stored in profiles, which can be viewed on an individual basis or in terms of broader audiences. Meanwhile, event data like shares or transactions displays in your program and campaign dashboards.
Profile Data
Every person is assigned a profile as soon as they are encountered, whether through your website, mobile app, or API, regardless of whether or not they interact with a campaign. Profiles in Extole give us the ability to assess the quality of your customers as part of evaluating their participation in a program or eligibility for a reward. In a person’s profile, we can do the following:- Store reward information
- Retain and model relationships among participants
- Manage access control
- Enable targeting of content and programs
- Store relevant audience information, such as “Ambassador” or “employee”
- Support the promotion of programs
