Overview
Extole Chat works with your own My Extole permissions. It can surface only what you are already allowed to see, and the conversation’s access mode sets a second limit on what it can change.
Before you send your first message, you agree to the AI Terms. They are the agreement for Extole Chat, and they take precedence over this page.
Access Modes
A new conversation starts in Build. The mode control is on the message box, and the control is highlighted while the conversation is in Full access.
You choose the mode. When a step needs a higher mode, Extole Chat stops before that step runs and shows a card asking you to switch. After you switch, Extole Chat continues the work it paused. You do not need to send the request again.
In Full access, Extole Chat can publish a campaign or issue a reward when you direct it to. Those actions carry the same permissions and audit logging as if you made them yourself. Read the draft before you approve a publish.
A mode does not grant permissions you do not already have. If your role cannot publish a campaign, Full access does not let Extole Chat publish it for you.
Review the Answer
Extole Chat can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. A reply is there to help you work. It is not legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice, and it cannot change your contract, pricing, billing, or entitlements.
Before you rely on a figure, publish it, or send it outside your organization, confirm it against the report or screen it came from. A report card in the reply opens that report.
What Extole Chat Can See
Extole Chat can surface anything your account is already authorized to view in My Extole. It does not filter or redact sensitive information, including email addresses or other customer information in your reports and data. What you type is sent as entered.
Do not paste an access token, a password, or any other credential into Extole Chat. The AI Terms also prohibit financial account numbers, government-issued identifiers, protected health information, biometric data, and similarly protected data.
For how your inputs are processed, logged, and used, see the AI Terms.
Attachments
One message can include up to five files. Add them with Attach file, paste them, or drop them on the message box. You can send a message that contains only files.
PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP images longer than 1568 pixels on their longest side are resized before they upload. Any other file has to be 4 MiB or smaller, and so does an image after resizing. Extole Chat names a file when it rejects it.
Conversations
Chats are saved, so you can return to them from Recent chats or All chats. There is no control to delete or rename a chat, and chat search is not available yet.
After you have sent 15 messages in one chat, Extole Chat suggests starting a New chat for your next task. You can dismiss the suggestion and keep working in the same thread.
While a reply is still running, you can write your next message. It shows as Queued and sends when the current reply finishes.
Cate is the support chatbot behind the pink chat icon. It answers questions from Extole’s documentation and can connect you to Support. See Meet Cate.
Extole AI Tools connect an AI client you already use, or the command line, to your Extole account. They are separate from the assistant inside My Extole. See Extole AI Tools.
